This footage was taken BEFORE the storm kicked off, while Lachlan still thought the situation was amusing and there were still bottles left to smash in the duty free shop.
Land, me hearties! Arriving in Guernsey for the festival after a very stormy ferry crossing. It even made the news!! House high waves, 65 knot winds, roof caving in, screams and of course plenty of vomit... We kissed the ground!
Calm in Guernsey harbour, we were greeted by a fork lift truck to collect the cars which had been damaged in the storm. Luckily, the Hope Truck was unscathed.

Thankfully, it was all smooth sailing back to the mainland.
In between festivals, we are hot-bunking at my aunt Sheenagh's 'zoo' in Surrey where much of what we eat is homegrown, foraged or roadkill.
My aunt is a photographer. She took this picture before we devoured our Guernsey dinner!
Hanging out in Surrey before Hop Farm Festival.
Catching up on orders, emails, sleep & washing. We also made new Tree4Hope signs designed by Miriam McWilliam.
It was my aunt, Sheenagh's 200th Blip - you can see her photography at http://blipfoto.com/sheenaghmclaren
Sheenagh's photographic models had places to go, snails to meet, foliage to munch.
