Meeting the girl called Marvelous

The braai was delicious but we made too much and so yesterday we took the left over meat and vegetables to the vibrant hustle of Imizamo Yethu, the township in Hout Bay where we think that Bow Wow came from. The rainbow warrens of shacks were full of people, energy and music. A lovely girl called Marvelous helped us to distribute the food under the hot sun. We were welcomed into the community who have little in terms of financial wealth but are so rich in spirit. A laughing little boy, whizzing around on his one old roller-skate, epitomized the inspiring attitude that we found there.

Thank you, Nicola! Sadly, Lachlan and I are going to miss our Topsy-Turvy Land fix this year. We will be back with the Airstream and lots of FABULOUS goodies sourced on our travels next year. Please don’t have too much fun without us! Lots of love to all the Molloys, Lucie x x x
